March 2015  De Villo Sloan

Initially, all of my works are collage-like constructs made with paper, but then I make them digital images and there is HEAVY alteration. They would not exist without digital manipulation and can only be reproduced by printing copies. The finished products are ultimately digital, but they start on paper.

April-May 2015  Christophe Lente

Horror and B-Movies have definitely influenced my work, not only the visual universe that lives inside them, but also the philosophy of some of the genre's film directors.

Underground musician, master poster maker, contributor to zines and mainstream magazines, portrait painter -- all of these describe French artist Lente Chris.

At present, Lente Chris resides and works in Paris.

June-August 2015  Jim Leftwich

I started writing poetry in 1972.

1972 was an important year for me.

I was 16.

I was introduced to a whole lot of things that have stayed with me for the rest of my life.

From this beginning, Jim Leftwich has gone on to experiment with letters, words and images in ways that defy easy description. We focus on his recent Tape Transfers, a process he has been refining for more than 20 years.

September 2015  Mado Reznik

Buenos Aires artist Mado Reznik is accomplished in many different creative expressions. She writes, takes photographs, makes collages and intricately detailed artist books. All represent her passion for language, for communicating ideas from one person to another. Mado has a PhD in Linguistics and worked as a researcher and professor for many years. After leaving academic life, she turned her attention to writing and the visual arts.

...Time lived has convinced me that change is continuous. I write. I cook. I work with photographic images, etchings, paintings, and collages.

I was trained as a linguist. The language remains a passion and is full of surprises. I make artist books and I edit books. I'm nomadic.
