Portuguese artist Lourenco Camara Lomelino is an accomplished painter and architect. He draws his inspiration from animals and nature, LIsbon cafe society, historical Portuguese figures, posters, single words and slogans. He is also inspired by Portuguese artist Paula Rego and French poet and diplomat Paul Claudel. One of Lourenco's favorite quotes is from Claudel: Order is the pleasure of reason, disorder the delight of imagination.

Lourenco has been regularly exhibiting his work since 2008. His current exhibition in Madeira, Portugal is titled RANDOM and runs through the month of October. Also exhibiting with him is Cristina Freitas Branco.
